GUILFORD, Conn. — Keegan Donohue scored the go-ahead goal with 3:50 left in regulation and Stonington High held on for a 4-3 field hockey win over Guilford in a nonleague game Saturday.

Donohue’s unassisted goal came off a corner play. The ball rebounded off a goalie clear, and Donohue picked it up on a low angle and shot it past the Guilford keeper.

Ellie Korinek scored twice for the Bears (2-0). Miranda Arruda added a goal, and Daisy Williams had an assist.

Guilford (0-1) had advantages in shots, 9-6, and penalty corners, 8-7. Bears goalie Abby Mann made six saves.
