UNCASVILLE — Four players scored in double figures as Stonington High earned a lopsided win against St. Bernard, 72-21, in an ECC out-of-division girls basketball game Tuesday night.
Miranda Arruda led the Bears with 14 points, eight steals and four rebounds. Izzy Yarnall contributed 12 points and 21 rebounds. Aliza Bell had 12 points and Kate Johnson finished with 10.
Stonington (4-2) led 23-3 at the end of the first quarter and 41-9 at the half. St. Bernard dropped to 2-4 with the loss.
Stonington travels to Killingly Thursday for a 7 p.m. game.
