STONINGTON — A one-car crash led to detours along Stillman Avenue early Wednesday afternoon, but fortunately officials said there were no injuries.
Stonington police, Pawcatuck firefighters and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the area of 25 Stillman Ave. at 1:40 p.m. with reports that a Pontiac had struck a utility pole head-on. Occupants of the car were out when officials arrived, however, and declined medical attention.
Emergency officials closed the north travel lane to clean a spill and remove the car. All lanes of travel were reopened shortly after 2 p.m.
