STONINGTON — An Uncasville man is facing charges after police said he intentionally bumped the rear of another driver’s vehicle, twice, while driving under the influence.
Stonington police were called to Greemanville Avenue in the area of Holmes Street just after 12:30 p.m. Thursday after the victim, who was not identified, reported he had been struck in the rear twice while he was stopped waiting for traffic. Police said the caller was able to provide information including a description of the car and license plate number.
Officers located the car, driven by 39-year-old Christopher Michael Lusk, and initiated a traffic stop a short time later. During the stop, police said Lusk showed signs of intoxication and was given a field sobriety test, which he failed.
In addition, police said Lusk was operating without proper insurance and also did not have a valid driver’s license.
He was charged with driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle when license is suspended, operating an unregistered motor vehicle,
