Aldi set to reopen Wednesday after dealing with burst water pipe

WESTERLY — The Aldi store in the Franklin Shopping Plaza on Franklin Street is set to reopen Wednesday.

The store was closed Thursday after a sprinkler pipe froze and then burst causing water to pool on the floor of the discount grocery store.

The store is scheduled to reopen Wednesday at 9 a.m., said Bruce Persohn, ALDI South Windsor division vice president. No other information was made available from the store.
