WESTERLY — A 30-year-old Westerly man is facing charges after police said he sold heroin to an informant on three occasions in late January.
The man, Tyler L. O’Rourke, 30, of 105 White Rock Road, is facing three counts of sale or delivery of a narcotic substance. He was arraigned in Fourth Division District Court on Monday and ordered held without bond pending an upcoming court hearing.
Westerly Police Capt. Shawn Lacey said officers set up the purchases through a confidential informant and obtained personal use amounts of heroin from O’Rourke. The police secured a warrant and O’Rourke was arrested at his home on Sunday afternoon.
