RICHMOND — A 17-year-old Charlestown girl is facing charges after police said she punched another girl in front of police officers at the Chariho-Westerly football game last week.
According to police, Sgt. William Litterio and Patrolman Brock Taylor were on assignment Friday night at the Chargers-Bulldogs game when they saw the fight. Police said the victim was struck by several punches. The two were quickly separated and no injuries were reported. Police said the second girl was not charged.
