Take a look at some of the region’s upcoming holiday sales

Dec. 1, 2Christmas Bazaar

Various times; St. Pius X Regional Academy, 32 Elm St., Westerly.

The bazaar will feature crafts, raffle baskets, food, children's table, story reading and pictures with Santa on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Holiday Bazaar

Various times; Poquonnock Bridge Baptist Church, South Road, Groton.

Books, jewelry, Gramma's attic, crafts needlework, a silent auction and cookies. A light lunch will be available Saturday. The bazaar will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.


Saturday, Dec. 2Holiday Bazaarand Luncheon

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Central Baptist Church, 16 Elm St., Westerly.

The luncheon will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. For tickets, call 401-596-4929.

Holiday Open House and Sale

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Babcock-Smith House Museum, 124 Granite St., Westerly.

The Babcock-Smith House Museum will host a Holiday Open House and Sale featuring free tours of the house and museum, sales of cookie platters, assorted baked goods, holiday greens and decorations, hand-knit items, designer doll clothes for 18-inch doll and handcrafted items as well as raffles.

Annual Holiday Bazaar

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Masonic Lodge, 20 Elm St, Westerly.

The Masonic Lodge Holiday Bazaar will feature items for sale from vendors.

Christmas Bazaar& Tea

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; United Congregational Church of Westerly, 9 Castle Hill Road, Pawcatuck.

The United Congregational Church of Westerly annual Christmas Bazaar & Tea will feature a  Silent Auction, fresh wreaths and greens, sea glass treasures, bad goods, gift baskets, children's shopping, jewelry and crafts, mission items, decorative trees, Nostalgia Boutique, Santa and a traditional tea luncheon.

Holiday Bazaar

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Hope Valley Fire Station, 996 Main St., Hope Valley.

The  Hope Valley Wyoming Fire Auxiliary will host a Holiday Bazaar featuring raffles, homemade gifts and handcrafted items.

Delightful Christmas Bazaar

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; North Stonington Congregational Church, 89 Main St., North Stonington.

The bazaar will include gifts, ornaments and decorations, Grandma’s Attic, photos with Santa, children’s room, baked goods, jams and nuts, and mission booth. A luncheon served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Christmas music by pianist Peter Davis.

Christmas Craft Fair

8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; North Stonington Christian Academy, 12 Stillman Road, North Stonington.

The fair will include baked goods, live greenery, gift baskets, Christmas décor, crafts, books, games, homemade candy, knitted and crocheted items, toys, antiques and Grandma’s attic.  Breakfast items and lunch, with homemade soups, will be served. Christmas Bazaar

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; North Stonington Baptist Church, 5 Rocky Hollow Road, North Stonington.

The North Stonington Baptist Church annual Christmas Bazaar will include crafts, Granny's Attic, baked goods and lunch.  For more information, call 860-535-0208.

Olde Mistick Village Holiday Carnival

11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Olde Mistick Village, 27 Coogan Blvd., Mystic.

The carnival will feature strolling carolers from The Mystic River Chorale and Stonington High School Choir, performances by The Vince Thompson Band, The Sue Menhardt Duo, The Festive Brass band, Fly-by-Night Comedy Jugglers, a Birds of Prey demonstration, a Santa’s Workshop for children with all items will be priced under $10 with proceeds to be donated to a local charity, a free showing of “A Christmas Story” and pet photos with Santa. Admission and parking are free.

Holiday Artisan Bazaar

8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 383 Old North Road, Kingston.

The holiday sale will feature greens arrangements, artisan crafts and jewelry, fine knitted goods, hand-made pottery and artworks along with home-made soups, coffee and baked goods. Proceeds will benefit the church and the Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County.

Holiday Artsand Crafts Fair

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of South County, 27 North Road, South Kingstown.

Items for sale will include fine arts and crafts, gourmet baked goods, books, jewelry, ”Fair-Trade” goods and other unique items. A luncheon will also be available.

Holiday Book Sale

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ; Kingston Free Library, 2605 Kingstown Road, Kingston.

The Friends of Kingston Free Library will hold a sale of ‘like new’ books suitable for holiday gift-giving. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Kingston Free Library.

Saturday, Dec. 2-3Christmas Elegance Arts & Craft Show

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Courthouse Center for the Arts, 3481 Kingstown Road, West Kingston.

The Courthouse Center for the Arts’ Arts & Craft Show will feature vendors selling handmade items including wooden items, jewelry and Christmas decorations. There will be food, hot cocoa, hot toddies, and snacks available and a special appearance by Santa. There will also be live music and carolers. Admission is free. Wednesday, Dec. 6Holiday Stroll& Luminaria

5 to 9 p.m.; Downtown Westerly-Pawcatuck.

The streets of downtown Westerly will be lined with luminaria, carolers, and Christmas festivities. There will be hayrides with Santa and complementary hot chocolate and cookies. Dec. 6 - 9Holiday Book Sale

Various times; Westerly Public Library, 44 Broad St., Westerly.

The Friends of the Public Library will hold their annual Holiday Book Sale featuring books, tapes and CD's. The proceeds will benefit the library and park. The sale is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Sat, Dec. 9 Christmas Bazaar

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Christ Episcopal Church, 7 Elm St, Westerly.

The bazaar will feature fine crafts, hand-knitted items, poinsettias, boxwood trees, attic treasures, homemade holiday baked goods, a visit from Santa from 10 a.m. to noon and a luncheon served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Ashaway Holiday Stroll

8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Village of Ashaway

The Ashaway Village Holiday Stroll will begin with breakfast with Santa and end with fireworks at Crandall Field. Events will be held throughout the day at various locations. For a full schedule visit hopkintonri.org/recreation.
