I ENJOY SPENDING MY TIME: Being with family and friends and my bulldog, Cozmo.

MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: Running a half marathon last October with my younger sister, Rebecca Bernardo, and her boyfriend, Ethan Hartley. I’ve never been a runner. In high school it took me 20-plus minutes to run a mile.

I’D LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR: My determination. I’m a middle child, but I never let “No” stop me.

TOP ON MY BUCKET LIST: Travel to Egypt/ the Middle East, I was a history major for undergrad and love the whole ancient world.

WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GREW UP: A sports doctor … then I discovered that I do not like blood.

PERSON WHO HAS INFLUENCED ME THE MOST: My mom, Karenlee Bernardo. She’s seriously a superhero and I am beyond grateful for everything she has taught me and for every opportunity she’s helped me achieve.

FAVORITE AUTHOR: I don’t really have just one. I enjoy reading memoirs or biographies so it’s always different.

BOOKS ON MY NIGHT STAND: Condoleezza Rice’s “No Higher Honor: A Memoir of My Years in Washington,” and “The Glass Castle” by Jeanette Walls. I joined a book club with my sorority sisters and their taste in books is very different from mine, so I needed balance.

I AM LISTENING TO: Tons of country music to prepare for summertime.

FAVORITE MOVIE/ LAST MOVIE WATCHED: I recently watched “Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri,”and absolutely loved it.  But my all-time go to is “Miss Congeniality 2.”

FAVORITE TV SHOW: “Golden Girls.” The characters are timeless and always can cheer me up.

FAVORITE SONG: Anything by Kip Moore, he’s a favorite of mine.

SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES I USE MOSTLY: Instagram or, it’s an app where you like someone’s Instagram picture and then get an email with links to their outfits … it’s a great shopping tool!

TRAIT I MOST ADMIRE: Understanding. It takes a lot to put yourself in someone else’s shoes but I think if you can have basic human understanding for one another, you gain mutual respect.

PET PEEVE: When someone puts something in the sink when the dishwasher is right there.

FAVORITE QUOTATION: “Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.” — Jennifer Lee.

MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT OUR LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD: The amazing beaches, I love the water and it makes me happy to know it’s only ever a couple of minutes away!

CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT: My family … my best friends, biggest supporters and favorite critics.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT ME: I am the world’s worst speller. I have to Google a word or try multiple times incorrectly spelling it in Word for the program just to get it closer to the right spelling for it to offer me the correct option.

BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED:  What’s meant to be will always find a way.

ADVICE I BEST LIKE TO GIVE:  Everything happens for a reason, find the lesson or the blessing.

IF I RULED THE WORLD I WOULD: Make the work week four days and start work later, I am not a morning person.

IF I WON THE LOTTERY, THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS: Pay back my dad, Richard Bernardo, for every opportunity he has provided for us … then buy a ton of bulldogs or vice versa and give him a dog too!

I WISH I DROVE A:  A black Range Rover.

ALWAYS IN MY FRIDGE: Lemons, I love water with lemon.
