OCCUPATION: Executive director of the Westerly Education Center; policy director of workforce development for the Rhode Island Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner; Westerly emergency management director; adjunct faculty member for CCRI and Roger Williams University.

RESIDENCE:  Exeter.

BORN, RAISED & GREW UP IN:  Middleboro, Mass.   

RIGHT NOW I’M IN THE MIDDLE OF: Watching TV with my husband.

I ENJOY SPENDING MY TIME: With my family; my husband, Mike, and my children Jaeden, 9, Cailin, 7, and Michael, 6 — especially when we are vacationing in Maine or on the Cape.

MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:  Growing the Westerly Education Center into what it is today and showing my kids that it is possible to work hard and be passionate about what you do, while still balancing family and being mom.

I’D LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR: Being a good mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend to the people in my life.

MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT OUR LITTLE CORNER OF THE WORLD: How many wonderful things we have in our little state! You can go walk by the ocean or take a hike through the woods, visit the zoo or shop in beautiful downtowns.   

CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT: My family.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT ME:  I have run six marathons.

BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED: You can’t turn down a job until you are offered it.

ADVICE I BEST LIKE TO GIVE:  Stay positive!

IF I RULED THE WORLD I WOULD:  Approach it like all of my jobs: Make a list, work through the priorities, and trust in those that work with me to get the job done!

IF I WON THE LOTTERY, THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS: Buy my vacation home in Maine.

I DRIVE A: 2014 Black GMC Acadia.

I WISH I DROVE A:  Jeep (That’s what my husband would say)!  I would drive a 2014 Black GMC Acadia — cars aren’t my thing!

ALWAYS IN MY FRIDGE:  Seltzer water.

IF I COULD HOST A DINNER PARTY WITH A GROUP OF PEOPLE FROM THE PAST, PRESENT OR FUTURE, I WOULD INVITE:  Everyone close to me!  I love being surrounded by family and friends.  I truly enjoy entertaining and sharing fun times with others.
