RIGHT NOW I’M IN THE MIDDLE OF: Preparing to go with a team of 36 people from six churches in our community to do hurricane recovery work in Houston, Texas, from April 14-21.
I ENJOY SPENDING MY TIME: Reading, running and walking on the beach, playing piano, traveling.
MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: Raising our four children to have love and respect for others, to be committed to working for equality in the world, and for the incredible blessing of being a family.

PERSON WHO HAS INFLUENCED ME THE MOST: My youth pastor, Mark Nazarian. Almost 40 years ago he encouraged me to become a pastor. He retires this September and he has touched countless lives. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

BOOKS ON MY NIGHT STAND: “Les Miserables,” a biography of Leonardo da Vinci, the Bible.
