Caleb Locke goes to Washington 



Caleb Locke of Ashaway, 9, recently visited Washington, D.C. and met with Sen. Jack Reed, as well as stopping by the offices of Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse and Rep. Jim Langevin to ask for their support with a bill named The Ensuring Lasting Smiles Act (ELSA). The bill, when passed, will close an insurance coverage loophole for people born with congenital anomalies who need complex oral restorative care. Caleb has a rare genetic disorder, X-Linked Hypohydrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia. The was the second Advocacy Day for the National Foundation of Ectodermal Dysplasia on Capitol Hill.
