South County Habitat for Humanity was the recipient of funds raised at the inaugural golf-a-thon held by the professional staff at the Weekapaug Golf Club in June. As part of their tradition of fostering goodwill between Weekapaug Golf Club and the local community, the four golf pros at the club played 54 holes of golf in a single day to help raise awareness for Habitat. Through their effort, they raised over $9,000 in donations from members of their club.
