The U.S. Small Business Administration and the Center for Women & Enterprise have rescheduled the Rhode Island Small Business Economic Summit, held at Bryant University, to Jan. 16 . The meeting was to be held today but was called off because of the storm. The program will begin at 7:30 a.m. on the 16th and will follow the same schedule.

The meeting is a venue for elected officials and business owners to discuss issues of importance to small business in Rhode Island. The goal is to formulate and present a small business advocacy package  approved by participants. This year’s forum will focus on seven areas: taxes and budget, health care, regulations, economic development, Main Street issues, workforce development, and emerging markets.
