RICHMOND — Lila Delman Real Estate International has announced the sale this month of a 30-acre equestrian farm at 61 Pine Hill Road in Richmond for $1 million. John Repoza, a broker associate at Delman’s Narragansett office, represented the buyer. “The buyers realized that this property was a one-of-a-kind opportunity and it illustrates that Rhode Island offers some of the most unique real estate at value prices,” Repoza said.
The Colonial home was built in 1900, according to Richmond property records. The main home was renovated in 2008. The property also includes a 740-square-foot cottage built in 2001. The equestrian facilities include an indoor 160-by-70-foot indoor arena, an outdoor arena, and a 3,500-square-foot shingle-style barn with eight stalls and tack areas. The barn has a full kitchen for entertaining, laundry and an apartment above.
The Realtor.com website said the property in the Carolina section of town was last sold for $400,000 in 2002, and went on the market this year with an asking price of $1.8 million. Town property records listed the owner as Vanessa Faye Wurman, of Jamestown, and the current tax assessment as $701,500. The closing was Dec. 14. The seller was represented by Belinda Nattress of Keller Williams Realty of Newport, according to the Realtors’ website.
