According to the National Weather Service, greater Westerly can expect rain on Thursday, mainly after 1 p.m., with a high near 41. New precipitation amounts of between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible.
Thursday night will then bring cooling temperatures with a low around 31. There will be a chance of rain and sleet likely before 4 a.m., then a slight chance of sleet after 5 a.m. Little or no sleet accumulation is expected.
On Friday, there’s a slight chance of rain or freezing rain before 8 a.m., then a 100 percent chance of rain during the day with a high near 41.
