MEAL MENU

For reservations, call Edie at (401) 596-7216. Recommended donation is $3. Please make reservations on Thursdays for the next week. Menu is subject to change by the caterer.

Monday – Vegetable soup, meatball sandwich, roasted chickpea salad, spinach, and dessert. Secondary option is BLT on wheat.

Tuesday – Cream of mushroom soup, roasted chicken leg, wax bean, whole wheat roll, dessert. Second option Cobb salad.

Wednesday – Tomato soup, baked ham with gravy, peas and onions, and dessert. Secondary option is chicken salad on wheat.

Thursday – Minestrone soup, stuffed shells, roasted zucchini, tomato and cheese focaccia, and dessert. Secondary option is spinach salad with chicken.

Friday – Red clam chowder, cod Florentine, brown rice pilaf, sliced carrots, and dessert. Secondary option is turkey and Swiss on wheat roll.

TRIPS

Flyers for all trips are available in the tan box at the end of the counter at the front office and are displayed on the bulletin board outside the front office.

Tuesday — Strength and balance exercise class 9:15-10:15 a.m.; Zumba class 10:20-11:20 a.m.; lunch at 11:30 a.m. of stuffed shells with marinara, peas and carrots, and pineapple cup for dessert. Bingo after lunch.

Wednesday— Books and More! The Stonington Free Library is coming to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. Patrons may use their Stonington or Connecticut library card or apply for one. Borrow, renew, and browse, or do research. Bring a list of books you would like to borrow and they will bring the books. Learn to search the digital library catalog, how to use a Kindle or other e-reader, and how to borrow e-books through the library. Zumba Lite 9-10 a.m.; grocery shopping at McQuade’s in Westerly 9 a.m; Senior meeting at 11:00 am tai chi 1-2 p.m.; lunch at 11:30 a.m. beef stew, brown rice and Italian vegetable medley, and dessert; Bingo after lunch; Tai Chi 1 to 2 p.m.

Painting group:  Painting with Peers meets on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. This is a casual painting group; work on your own project with peer suggestions and advice.
