WESTERLY — Sarah Hall, coordinator of the Westerly Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force, will discuss the task force and a strategy for addressing opioid overdoses during a meeting of the League of Women Voters South County scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Dime Savings Bank, 131 Franklin St.
Hall, who has been the task force coordinator since March, will discuss the organization’s Partnership for Success Grant as well as ongoing efforts to develop a strategy for preventing overdoses. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
This is the second of a bimonthly series of lectures hosted by the league on topics of general interest. The public is invited to attend.
