According to the National Weather Service, the greater Westerly area can expect clouds during the day with rain moving in, mainly after 5 p.m., and a patchy fog developing around 4 p.m. There will be a high near 56. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Tuesday night will bring rain with a possiible thunderstorm developing between midnight and 3 a.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain, with a low around 50. It will be breezy, with a south wind of 16 to 25 mph and gusts as high as 37 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent with new rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Wednesday will continue to bring rain, mainly before 9 a.m., with a high near 55. There will be a west wind of 14 to 16 mph with gusts as high as 26 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
