Overnight storms will fade away as the day goes on, but expect a wet start and keep that umbrella handy.
According to the National Weather Service, the greater Westerly area can expect showers during the morning, mainly before 7 a.m. Skies will then be cloudy and gradually clearing with temperatures falling to about 43 by 5 p.m. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Wednesday night will bring partly cloudy skies with a low near 30. There will be a west wind of 7 to 9 mph and wind gusts as high as 20 mph. The sun will return on Thursday, with a high near 46.
