Mott & Chace announces sale of Shelter Harbor home for $1,061,000



WESTERLY — Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has announced the sale of 81 Rossini Road, Westerly for $1,061,000. The sellers of this Shelter Harbor home were represented by Ray Mott, broker and co-owner, and the buyers by Susan Mitchell, sales associate, both with Mott & Chace.

The 3-bedroom, 1,800-square-foot ranch-style house was built in 2000 on a lot of 0.23 acre. The owners of record as of Sept. 7 were Alyson Silverberg and Michelle Malanga, of Manhattan, N.Y., and the previous owner was named as Leslie J. Gordon and Leslie J. Gordon, trustee, according to town property records. The property is  assessed at $709,600. The home was listed in July for $1,150,000, and the closing was Sept. 7.

“With single level living and views of Quonochontaug Pond, this home offers impressive views and a convenient location relative to all Shelter Harbor area amenities,” Mott said.

Mott & Chace said that it had represented seven clients this year in sales of properties priced at more than $1 million in Westerly.
