Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut has announced the sale of the “Blue Skies” suite, an 1,831-square-foot residence on the beach level of the Ocean House, for $3,125,000. The closing was Feb. 2.
Josie Flynn Navin, who is affiliated with the Coldwell sales office in Mystic, led negotiations on behalf of the owners, Reba White Williams and Dave H. Williams of New York. It was the highest-priced condominium sale in Rhode Island in three years, according to the R.I. State-Wide Multiple Listing Service.
The buyer, AZA Blue Skies Investments LLC, of Massachusetts, was represented by Donna Simmons of the Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty office in Watch Hill. “My clients are ecstatic about making the Ocean House their new summer home!” Simmons said.
The two-bedroom unit, built as part of the Ocean House reconstruction in Watch Hill in 2010, went on the market last March for $3.75 million, according to realtor.com. It was last sold for $3 million in May 2015.
Town property records show that its assessment was raised by nearly $812,000 in 2015, to $2,960,300. Monthly homeowner assciation fees were $2,307, according to the real estate listing.
