WESTERLY — Orthopedic surgeon Brad E. Green, DO, has joined the Westerly Hospital medical staff and is accepting new patients.
Green is an assistant professor of clinical orthopaedics and rehabilitation at Yale School of Medicine. He will join Stephen Gross, MD, at a new Center for Musculoskeletal Care, 45 Wells St., part of the Yale New Haven Health’s Center for Musculoskeletal Care, which provides a holistic approach to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the muscles, joints, bones and nervous system.
Green is board certified in orthopedic surgery, received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at the Osteopathic Hospital of Maine in Portland. He performed rotations in total joint surgery and hand surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
His specialties include total joint replacement, arthroscopic minimally-invasive knee and shoulder surgery and hand and foot surgery.
